Top Team Garage Door Publishes Full Repair Pricing Online as It Plans National Expansion

The garage door brand has launched a new national website that publishes written price ranges for every repair it performs, an uncommon step in an industry known for quoting prices only after the door is apart.

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. – September 18, 2026 – Top Team Garage Door has launched a new national website that publishes the company’sactual price ranges for garage door repair, a level of disclosure that remains uncommonacross the trade nationwide.

Garage door repair is one of the few home services where the customer almost neverlearns the price before the work starts. A common pattern across the industry advertisesa low service call, dismantles the door, then presents the real number once the homeownerhas little practical choice. Because a failed spring can trap a vehicle inside a garage, the customer is rarely in a position to shop around.

Top Team Garage Door’s new site takes the opposite approach and lists the numbers inpublic. A typical garage door repair runs $150 to $370. Torsion spring replacement runs$143 to $333 per spring. A new opener installed runs $315 to $452, and a new insulateddoor runs $1,188 to $4,536 depending on size and construction. Every range carries thesame condition: the exact figure is written down and approved by the customer beforeany work begins, and a customer who declines owes nothing.

“A homeowner with a broken spring is not in a position to negotiate, and everybody inthis business knows it,” said David Gordon, owner of Top Team Garage Door. “So we putthe numbers on the website where anyone can read them before they call, and thetechnician writes the price down before touching the door. We want that to be thestandard everywhere we operate, not a local exception.”

The company operates a national customer line at (888) 260-8770 and currently dispatchestechnicians across the Minneapolis and Saint Paul metropolitan area and a 90 mileradius around it, reaching 58 communities including St. Cloud, Rochester, Mankato andthe western Wisconsin border towns. Top Team Garage Door says additional United Statesmarkets are planned, with the same published pricing model applied in each.

The new site also carries 20 homeowner guides written for people trying to diagnose adoor before they call, covering why springs break in cold weather, how to free a doorfrozen to the slab, the difference between torsion and extension springs, and when adoor is worth repairing rather than replacing. Customers can book a visit online orreach a person by phone from 7 AM to 11 PM, every day of the week.
